1. The Originator of Anti-Vaccination Movement Faked Research for Profit

Andrew Wakefield is a former somewhat prominent British doctor who was later barred from practicing. He was the main author of a groundbreaking study in 1998 that concluded MMR vaccines cause autism.

Fast forward 20 years later and it seems almost half of the world is afraid of the life-saving cure, in no small part due to this man.

The only problem? His study was completely fraudulent. But it took years to figure this out.

Capitalism simply isn’t working and we simply must find another way to run our world.

Sorry, I am confused by this conclusion as the article does not speak to the failures of capitalism. That PETA related animal cruelty to slavery in 2011, or related milk to autism in 2008 is, I suppose, interesting (?) … but it doesn't support that…

Dr. Wakefield appears to be the anti-Jenner. As a physician, retired, I can attest vaccines are a major contributor to the extending human lifespan. Now, antivaxxers are as dangerous as prolifers in their rabid beliefs.
